Dr. Fallon is a senior healthcare executive with documented leadership and managerial expertise at the Division and Department level in academic medicine. He has an MBA and both the knowledge and expertise in managing large health care enterprises. Dr. Fallon is an Army trained general surgeon with special expertise in trauma, critical care and academic medicine. He spent more than 9 years on active duty as a surgeon. Among his awards while on active duty is the Expert Field Medical Badge. He was last Chief of Surgery at the VA NJ Health Care System, East Orange, NJ; served as the Co-Chair of the Clinical Products Review Committee for the hospital and was the Surgical Consultant for VISN 3.
